Enriched Finite Element Method
Title: New Enriched Finite Element Method via Multiscale Approach
Objective: To develop enriched finite element method for transport, fluid and solid models based on multiscale approach. To make numerical analysis of the new methods and to point out the correspondence between stabilized and enriched methods. To write a finite element code in C++ containing these researches.
Participant: L.P. Franca, A. Madureira, J. Ramalho and F. Valentin
Objective: To extend the wall laws to unsteady laminar flows based on domain decomposition methods and on asymptotic development methods. The unsteady wall laws are applied to treat rough boundaries and synthetic jets. As an application we will investigate fluid-sctruture iteration problems.
