Bioinformatics is a newly emerging interdisciplinary research area which may be defined as the interface between biological and computational sciences.

Short  interrupted palindrome occurrence in the extragenic DNA of  Escherichia coli.

A total of 7631 nonrandomic short sequence interrupted palindromes were found in the extragenic Escherichia coli K-12 DNA. These sequences are available for download in two versions : according to their positions in the genome - position  and according their aphabetic order - alphabet.

A total of 12.904  nonrandomic short sequence interrupted palindromes were found in the extragenic Haemophillus influenzae DNA.These sequences are available for download in two versions : according to their positions in the genome - position  and according their aphabetic order - alphabet.

A total of 4.722 nonrandomic short sequence interrupted palindromes were found in the extragenic Neisseria meningitidis Z2491 DNA.These sequences are available for download in two versions : according to their positions in the genome - position  and according their aphabetic order - alphabet.
 

A total of 5.477  nonrandomic short sequence interrupted palindromes were found in the extragenic Neisseria meningitidis MC58 DNA.These sequences are available for download in two versions : according to their positions in the genome - position  and according their aphabetic order - alphabet.
